James 4:8 tells us that God draws near to those who draw near to him. Making time to be still and quiet in the presence of natural beauty is a practical way to draw near. It might be just what you need...

"The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside,
somewhere they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God."
"I love to think of nature as an unlimited broadcasting station, through which God speaks to us every hour, if we will only tune in."
-George Washington Carver
"This is creation...
The good Lord put those things here as a free gift that he who chooses may take with joy."
"One touch of nature makes the whole world kin."
"If people sat outside and looked at the stars each night, I'll bet they'd live a lot differently."
"For the mind disturbed, the still beauty of dawn is nature's finest balm."
-Edwin Way Teale
